We have often received the question from customers, and media representatives - What is realy Scandinavian interior styling, for us Scandinavians. And we have ourselves questioned the huge misconception spread in this part of the world, of what really represents the interiors of our home country, Sweden.

A Scandinavian home is anything but predictable. We believe for many non-Scandinavians the style has become misconceived and many believe that clean lines with a pale color pallet and little usage af accessories is the way. We say - it is absolutely not that simple! Here in our FORUM will give you a serial of explanations of this world renowned interior phenomenom – Scandinavian style. All you need to start when creating your Scandinavian Home.

First and foremost we need to stress that there isn’t ONE Scandinavian style, but several. The more decorative and traditional Gustavian design is just as Scandinavian as the scaled back mid-century design. However, the mani focus remains - make it cosy and homely, or as we say "Mysigt".
